Reenlistment?

Hello,

I've been in the Air Force for 3 years and am considering reenlisting while I’m deployed. I just wanted to get some of your thoughts about your service in the military and whether I’m doing the right thing.

Also I’m trying to figure out which bases to put on my Base of Preference right now I’m looking at:
DAVIS-MONTHAN, ARIZONA
VANDENBERG, CALIFORNIA
BEALE, CALIFORNIA
DENVER, COLORADO
LACKLAND, TEXAS

Any advice you can give me about the bases or the BOP program or really anything would be really helpful. Thank you.

Don't let the economy scare you into reenlisting if you have a solid plan and really want to get out. You do only have 3 years in though so it wouldn't be that big of a deal to reup for 3 more, let things recover, then get out after doing six years. I have one year left and need to get out or go career at that point (8 years).
