I took the networking TECEP a couple of days ago and ran into a problem that might affect others. I thought it would be helpful to share my solution. When I attempted to log into the TESC website, I was presented with a blank white screen with _trust in the last part of the URL. This happened while I had the proctor online. I then closed my browser and tried to reopen chrome and log in again. Again I ended up with the white screen and the _trust url. Finally, I cleared the last hour of my browser history, closed the browser, and reopened it. I was then able to log into the TESC website. The proctor was able to use a custom url to re-initiate the session each time I reopened the browser and the chat window was never closed. I run into this issue logging into the TESC website on a regular basis, but this was my first TECEP and it was a bit frustrating. In the future I will try the following process....
If the white screen shows up,
Clear last hour of browser cache
Close browser
Open browser and log in
Hopefully this will save someone frustration.
