Reasonably priced online or self-paced real estate classes?

Does anyone know of any, besides the R.E. finance class at the University of Idaho? I'm trying to determine if the Real Estate major at TESC could be completed economically. (The "Center for Financial Training" 3-credit classes are $545 and I want to find them cheaper.) Thanks in advance for your help.

Thats gonna be a tough one...the University of Idaho courses are sort of a one off that I've never seen anywhere else...be cool to find though.

Cedar Valley College and North Lake College offer real estate classes online. They offer real estate degrees and certificates that are available all online. It is $52 per credit for Dallas County residents, $97 for other Texas residents, and $153 for out-of-state and out-of-country residents, but there is a $55 per credit extra fee for "Distance Learning Tuition" that would make it $208 per credit for out-of-staters.

I realize that it is tough finding reasonably priced real estate classes, but that's why I came here. Maybe someone knows something that can help several others. As of right now though, it looks like the ACE-evaluated Center for Financial Training classes are the cheapest. Anybody else have any suggestions?

I looked into Real Estate courses a while back. There were more courses than there are now. I looked up the courses in my list and most no longer exist, sadly.

Besides the ones you mentioned, the only real estate course I found was Principles of Real Estate at two colleges:
Columbia College has Principles of Real Estate (under Finance)
American Public University also has Real Estate Principles (under business)
I do not know about the current prices.

My local community college has real estate courses online, but, even though they are quite reasonably priced for anyone in county ($76/credit), they are $215 per credit for out of state.

I would suggest looking into any community colleges in your state. They are often the least expensive source for courses.

Would you mind naming the community college that has real estate courses online? It probably won't help me, but it may help someone who reads this thread and happens to live in your area. You're welcome. My local community colleges offer college-credit courses for becoming a realtor. One, Mesa Community College, also offers other real estate courses online, including Real Estate Finance, Principles of Real Estate Law and real estate appraisal courses (they have a real estate appraiser program).

Ashford has a number of RE courses, but definitely not cheap. 5 weeks for completion and they start every month

Careful. Four of the five electives required in the Area of Study for the BSBA in Real Estate must now be at the 300/400 level. That excludes community college courses. Don't ask me how I know. It was painful. And expensive.

It's a pity TESC refuses to update the online credit distributions for BSBA degrees. Certainly they have their reasons.
