ALEKS - Intro to Statistics/ Business Statistics
#1
Has anyone taken both?

What is the difference......?

Intro to Stats is broad.............I am still working on my ALEKS and struggling with some topics.

Anyone know if TESC can accept either for the BSBA-Stats requirement? I know they will take the Intro but I am considering opting for Bus Stats if i can handle it better than the Intro, then use it for the Stats req.

help!

Intro to stats is a little more theory at the lower end - 'Mathematical Readiness' (i.e., algebra), Probability and a slightly more 'pure' take on stats.

Business stats skips slightly further ahead and starts hitting topics like moving averages and forecasting a little earlier and slightly more in depth.

If you can do Intro to Stats, you can pick up the assessment for Business stats fairly quickly.

Good luck! I took Intro to Stats and TESC accepted it for my BSHS. Keep at it! It's *so* worth it once you hit 70%. Big Grin
