REA for Principles of Marketing?
#1
If I remember correctly, I believe that several people have mentioned that they passed the Principle of Marketing CLEP using just the REA book...any thoughts?

If you'd like a copy, I can send you a VERY dog-eared copy for, say, $1 over the cost of shipping. I never opened the disc. PM me if you're interested.

The REA guide was wonderful for this test, and I used it as my primary resource. However, you may want to supplement it with some other information, too - I posted some links that I found to be helpful here --> http://www.degreeforum.net/excelsior-tho...post136711 (videos, study guide, etc.). One of the easiest tests I took - I only studied for about 2 days and passed with a 66. I had absolutely NO experience in anything related to marketing, either (such as economics), but I did find the material to be interesting. Good luck on your CLEP! Smile

I also used the REA Study Guide as my primary resource for this exam. The study guide and practice tests in it were very useful for passing the exam. My only additional resource was using the internet to search for more information on terms, etc. I agree with Lady Grace, this exam is relatively easy, and I also had no experience with marketing, although I had studied and taken business exams such as Intro to Business, Management, Supervision, HRM, Org. Behavior, and Macro and Microeconomics.

Thanks for the offer Smile, but I already have a copy of the book. I'm hoping to take this one next week.

I primarily used Instantcert. I took it on Wednesday and scored a 62. I'd rank it a 2.5 difficulty out of 5.
