REA A&I Lit. Study Guide
#1
I'm considering buying this book this weekend, has anyone bought it and does it help with preparing for the exam or do most people just go in and wing it. I mean you read the passages and you either get it or you dont, is that correct? I'm also going to get the REA Humanities

I recommend taking the official CLEP practice exam. It's very indicative of how well you will do. I took it and did very well, so I ran down and took the real exam while I had my mojo working and passed with a good score. You will definitely know where you stand after you take that official practice exam.

I posted a link in my specific feedback on the exam to a site that has a lot of reading comprehension help. That's about the only kind of prep that will do you any good. I didn't use it personally, but it has the kind of coaching that would make a difference.

Good luck!

If you look at the feedback section I think you will find most say you realy cant study for it. I read a small book that was prob used in a college course BUT I cant say it helped. It has been a while and you can check my review for the thoughts right after but I recall HOW you took the test was what was important, not getting hung up cause you will run out of time. So in that vein practice tests more than study material are the important thing. Once you can flow with answering,it is all gravy.
