Hello. I am doing functions and I came to a question I don't quite understand.

h(x) = 17 + x

h(-18) = 17 + -18

I just don't understand on how to do functions with Fractions.

I just would like a explanation on how to do this.

Multiply both sides of the equation by 6 to eliminate the fractions

h(x) = 102 + 6x

h(-18) = 102 + ( 6 * -18 ) = 102 - 108 = -6
