I tried to search and couldn't find this answer in particular, but forgive me if it's out there. And I know TESU no longer accepts FEMA, but I'm asking for a different reason, not to transfer them in to TESU.
I know in the past, Frederick Community College (and maybe others) would put the FEMA courses on a transcript for you. Assuming this is still possible, does Frederick or any other college that does this for you also assign a letter grade for these courses? Or is it just CR/Pass?
Thanks!

I don't know about Frederick, but at Charter Oak State College, these are listed as "P" on the transcript.
I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.

Thanks. I'm more interested in the Frederick Community College weird credit laundering thing they seem to do, though.

Convert FEMA Independent Study Courses to College Credits
The credit conversion process takes place in three (3) environments.
1. FEMA - Take FEMA IS courses online.
2. EMI/Jacobs ( http://www.em-study.com) - online site where you go to convert FEMA IS courses to college credit.
3. Frederick Community College (FCC) - where FEMA IS courses are reviewed and posted to college transcripts.
Step 1 Review SEMESTER DATE INFORMATION below. Students are responsible for reviewing these dates and must allow necessary processing time to receive credits within the desired academic semester (spring, summer, fall).
Step 2 FEMA: Complete FEMA IS online courses here. Be sure to select courses that are eligible for credit.
Step 3 EMI/Jacobs ( http://www.em-study.com): Convert your FEMA IS courses to credit here.
Cost is $81 per credit (effective August 24, 2015). Transcripts will ship from Frederick Community College in 4 weeks. No rush service is available.
Questions-Contact EMI/Jacobs office at 301.447.1200 or email emstudy@jacobs.com
Step 4 Frederick Community College: Credits are awarded and transcripts are issued here.
Em-study.com will send your request/order to Frederick Community College (FCC) on your behalf.
An e-mail containing a completion date will be sent from FCC upon receipt of your FEMA IS order.
A second e-mail will be sent from FCC when credits are awarded and transcript(s) have shipped.
Email us, if you have any questions.
SEMESTER DATE INFORMATION and ORDERING DEADLINES
Spring 2016 Semester (1/25/16-6/5/16)

Previous Semester Dates
Fall 2015 Semester (8/24/15-1/24/16)

Good background info, and nice to know they still do it... but that doesn't really address my question :p

From here, under "Transcript Questions":
Quote:Q: I received my transcript with FEMA converted IS courses, what does "P" mean, is this a grade?
A: When FEMA courses are converted the grade listed is a "P" for passing. FCC provides a verification of successful completion of the FEMA IS course. A letter grade of A, B, C, etc. will not be assigned unless a student enrolls in modules through Frederick Community College which includes additional course work and a comprehensive exam. The cost to enroll in a module is $50(subject to change). You must apply at Emergency Management - Frederick Community College first, take IS courses and convert them to college credit through em-study.com, then sign up for modules if you choose.
So it looks like the FEMA courses themselves are given a P, and if you want a letter grade you have to take the corresponding module through FCC themselves.

I don't see a way they could give a grade. The FEMA transcripts I have don't have scores on them.

Perfect, thanks so much! Not what I wanted to see, but what I expected. Much appreciated.
