Hi All, Ok, so I finished my BSLS with EC in 2010 and now a friend of mine enrolled and they are telling her she needs to complete two depths for her BSLS. Majors and areas of focus were an option when I finished and I actually only graduated with one area of focus, no depth or major. Is that no longer than option? What happened to a general LS degree?
Because of the two depth requirements they want her to take way more classes than she wanted or needs because it isn't as flexible as it used to be. She has been dealing with the new EC office in Atlanta, so I'm not sure if they are just confused with what degree she wants or if they are just a "sales/advisor" trying to push her to go for more than she really needs. She just wants to get out with a generic bachelor's degree and isn't interested in anything else. I just thought someone who is current in this process with EC and clarify the changes. I don't remember reading anything here that EC has made it much more difficult to obtain a general LS bachelor's degree. I looked at the degree chart and it implies that two depths are required. I hope someone can help clarify this for us.
Thanks!
