I am thinking about taking the World History TECEP exam.... does anyone have experience with this and is it hard? I'm not a history buff in that I cannot remember dates very easily. Occasionally something will stick in my mind, but pretty much I guess I just study for the test and then forget most of it afterward. I saw the Saylor course aligned with the TECEP exam, so I'll probably use that.
My question is, when you register for a TECEP exam, I see that you're registering for it like as if you are registering for an actual class.... when the term starts, at that point can you just sign up with ProctorU for a test, or do you have to wait until the end of the term? I have to sign up for a TECEP by about mid-June I think in order to keep my application (or whatever you call it.... I was accepted on the Per Credit Tuition Plan in December I think it was and as far as I understand it, I have 6 months to sign up for my first exam).
