hello again! i was going through the resources sticky and found the peterson's "free" tests link. i tried clicking the "principles of management" practice exam link towards the bottom of the page (
http://www.petersons.com/airforce/clepce...?sponsor=8) but it asks me to register. i see they also ask for an activation code while registering and was wondering where i can get that? i have the collegeboard CLEP book but just want some more exams to test myself with. thanks! =]

Blue,
Register, it's quick and painless, and input FL5518 for the code. Enjoy! Lee

haha thanks! actually i found out how the code's structured and i typed in 4 random numbers which actually worked :p
but yeah, so i took a practice exam for principles of management and according to the score, it says i got a 73%. but the way they say this score is calculated is based on how many i got correct/incorrect. how does the 73% translate to the CLEP scoring system of out of 80?
sorry if i seem really clueless but i'm still getting to know the system since this will be my first exam. thanks for your tips and patience guys! i appreciate it =]

Hi Blue,
As a very general rule of thumb, if you are scoring higher than 50% on the Peterson mocks, you are likely to pass the real exam.
Most people (including myself) feel that the Peterson exams are usually a little bit harder than the real thing.
Since you scored 73%, I would say you are probably ready to take the Management exam.
If in doubt, or if you are still nervous, by all means study some more.
Hope that helps,
Snazzlefrag
My name is Rob

Hey,
I tried that activation code and it didn't work (maybe because it's already taken). Does anyone know of any other codes that would work for this?
Thanks

Hey,
Thanks Blue for the ID. It'll let me in now, but when I press "Continue" it gives me an internal site error. Am I the only one getting this? I'm trying to get all the practice tests I can for US Hist II, if anyone knows of any others that would be awesome.
Thanks

The activation codes are assigned to education centers on military posts. I just found out today that the army also has a free site.
http://www.petersons.com/army
The code for the army post I'm stationed is 064. The education counsler was handing them out to everyone, so the code a try. I wish the site was for DSST.

My wife picked this one up at the library last week, FL5587. Hope this works for you, I know it does for me.
