Question For You Guys... Does my college plan make sense?

New thought:

For my first degree, I definitely waited too long to enroll. My degree was complete except for the non-credit orientation course. I just learned it is possible to enroll too soon, also. Check this post and link: http://www.degreeforum.net/excelsior-tho...post129701

Try to find the best balance for you.

That's good info. I think what I'll do is this: I'm already enrolled in my local Community College - I'm going to knock out mostly all of the Gen Ed classes via CLEP and DSST and when I'm around 24 credits (30 needed) I'll apply and enroll. Then while I'm waiting for everything to go through I'll finish up the last couple tests to kill time during that preliminary period. Then when everything is in line - I'll transfer over all the credits (Exams and Certs) and I should have immediate access to an Adviser who I can "double check" which classes I can take that will fulfill the requirements for the degree. That seems good way to go.

Thanks again for the help man!
