QUESTION: Principles of Marketing CLEP

Hey! I have been studying for the CLEP marketing for a few weeks, and I just took the practice test out of the rea CLEP study guide, and I didn't do very well. Before I just took this test I thought I was really well prepared. I studied all of the flash cards on IC at least 3 times and I read the rea CLEP book. Still, I found a lot of questions on the rea study guide test that I had no idea about, like it was the first time ever seeing the material in about 30% of the questions. Am I really that unprepared? Or is the REA study guide practice test an unreliable resource? Any suggestions please!!

I only studied the IC cards for about 3 days and didn't even finish them. I scored a 68 on the exam. My particular exam had a lot of common sense questions.
