I take my CLEPs at Newman University in Wichita KS for a $20 testing fee. It will be going up soon (by $2 or $3, I think), but since I took my LAST CLEP YESTERDAY, I won't have to worry. Smile

I take DANTES at Baker University in Wichita and they also charge $20.

I love both my testing centers. I'm usually the only person taking an exam (except a couple times when I took one with my best friend!), the people are so friendly, and I can schedule the tests pretty much any time I want as long as I give them a couple days notice.

These two schools are way better than some of the other options around here. One school only tests on Thursdays and you usually have to give 2-3 weeks advance notice and the other still does paper-and-pen DANTES exams!

We really should spin off the test center info into a dedicated thread - new testers would benefit from knowing this information!

This is a great idea. The DSST test center list is TEN, YES TEN, years out of date. It has phone numbers from area codes that were changed that long ago, and many of the test centers no longer perform the service.

My experience with CLEP centers is much the same. I am in the metro NY area, and many of the centers have erratic schedules, and make you sign up weeks in advance for a given test.

A thread with topics for each state would be great!
EC - BSLS Finally done!
Went from 86 to 120 credits in six weeks thanks to IC and the forum.
