Hello!
Would anyone who has taken the Clep American Government be willing to share their experience and resources that you felt helped you? I just took the US History Clep, I passed and prepared using Instant Cert, but I felt there was a considerable amount of material on the test that IC didn't cover.
Thank you for any suggestions and input you can provide.

I used only the Cliff's Notes on American Government to study. I used a pdf version that was free through the Air Force Libraries, but Cliff's Notes provides it free on their website
American Government.
I scored very well on it, but I don't remember specifics.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

I used "Cracking the AP US Government and Politics Exam ". It had everything that I needed to pass the exam. I thought that the exam itself was petty straight forward.

I just took the exam on Thursday and passed with a 61. I used IC flash cards and videos from Hippocampus and HipHughes on YouTube.

Oh, and I used FreeClepTests and Peterson's Tests to gauge my progress and I thought they were very helpful.
