TESU Graduation Question
#1
Hello All,

Thank you in advance for your help.

TESU has 4 different graduation dates they list on the Website: March, June, September, and December. They all have specific deadlines to apply.
For the June Graduation it states deadline to apply is April 1st. I know everything doesn't have to be DONE on April 1st if you have a few credits you are still waiting on.
My question is how long after the April 1st deadline does everything need to be in by? I plan on having everything done sometime in May. My Spring classes end May 12th I believe. The only thing I may still need is the Strategic Management TECEP but I think I will try and move that up. So I'd look about 9 credits shy on the April 1st deadline but would have them by June. Just not sure how closely I would be pushing this. I don't mind just waiting till September Graduation but would really like to move it up if possible.

You could always apply for the June graduation and if you didn't make the cutoff, you would then be considered for Sept. graduation. If you let TESU know what courses you plan on finishing they will skip over you until everything is in. One person mentioned after sending everything in they asked to have the evaluation expedited and then notified the graduation office.

Thanks, If I have to I may just take the 2 courses from my CC that will go to the degree and just finish them on SL or another source if I manage to get both TECEPs done in time. I'd like to hit June Graduation so I'm eligible a few month earlier for a job. It could make a difference it might not.

You should be able to do it. The procedure is that they will audit your credits about 2 months before graduation. If you don't have everything, they will notify you and schedule a second audit the next month. If you know that you're close to the wire, you can work with them to expedite review of transferred credits or completed courses. If you have everything in by mid-May, you should be able to graduate.

I checked the dates Spring Classes end May 12th. They should hit my transcript by the next Wednesday so like May 17th and then they would have to be sent. No sure how long HVCC takes to send them. Guess I will find out the first time I send them.
