I've been reading quite a bit about the BA II Plus calculator and have seen mixed results on it being allowed to test with. I know the official exam factsheet says you can use a non-programmable calculator. Nonetheless, people are being turned away. I am interested in hearing about folk's experiences regarding this. I am a bit confused over what is considered programmable and nonprogrammable. I assume the BA II Plus calculator comes preprogrammed, and the end-user cannot program it any further and is thus considered non-programmable. Is that how it works?
I have sent an e-mail to Texas Instruments tech rep so I can have official clarification backed up by some letterhead -- which i'll bring into the test center along with the official fact sheet. I sent the question yesterday and am still awaiting their response.
