Ok I am going to take the principle of managment clep test in aboug 2 weeks and I have been using a lot of online resources and tests. Most of the tests that I am taking I have been getting anywhere from 45 -72.
REA I get about 45
the collegeboard clep I get about 68 - 70
is there anything other resources I can look at so I can make sure I am ready for this test. I feel I am ready until I take the REA test then I do not do that well..
Thanks,
Kathy

I've been using these videos to study for this test. Business 101: Principles of Management Course - Free Online Video Lessons | Education Portal I haven't taken any practice tests so I can't say for 100% sure how well they will prepare you, but I feel that they are doing a pretty good job. I'm also using the IC flashcards among other things like free-clep-prep.com.
Hope this helps!

I just took this test this morning and scored a 72! I mostly used IC flashcards (went through each section at least 2, usually, 3 times, so that I really knew the information and terms on them), looked through the Cliff's Notes ( Principles of Management) to go over the stuff that IC didn't cover (check the breakdown of the exam on the College Board website), and took two practice tests: the Free CLEP prep one (76%) and the Official CLEP study Guide (75%). I didn't feel that the OCSG practice test lined up very well with the actual test, at least the version I took. But the with the resources I used, I felt comfortable while taking the test. Leadership styles, the 5 components of Management (planning, organizing, staffing, controlling, directing/leading) are very important, and teams are very important. Once you know the info, try taking a few practice tests to get used to how to apply the information...I wish that I would have had more time for that. If you have access, check the Specific Feedback section too!

Thank you! I'm glad to be done with another one . I am taking the DSST Principles of Supervision and Intro to Business next (I'd like to be done in two days.), and I just took the Peterson's PT #1 for Principles of Supervision, and scored 89% without any extra studying. Is that a high enough score to be ready for the actual test? Or are the actual tests harder than the Peterson's? It seemed fairly easy, having just taken Management . But I recall reading in the Specific Exam section that this test was worded in a rather confusing way...any thoughts?

As has already been stated in this thread, Cliff's Notes Principles of Management is spot on for this CLEP. It's a quicker read than a textbook and they offer it free on their website. Helpmed me score a 70+

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
