Post Grad employment stories

I would like to add to this old post and say that if you are looking for a post grad employment story I sure have a good one for you. I am a New York State employee and was only a Tax Information Aide. Pretty much a really low paid normal worker who is temporary. I BSBA degree was conferred on 9/15/17, based on a letter sent to me from TESU confirming my degree would be conferred on 9/15/17 I was offered a Position as a Tax Technician 1 Trainee. This is a Grade 11 ($ 37,710) which leads to a Grade 14 ($ 44,564) in two years. However this position only requested a Associates degree and 12 Accounting credits. This was a stepping stone. I was offered a much better position only 6 months later with the state which requires a Bachelors degree. So only 6 months after graduating I landed an Accounting Trainee 1 position with NYS. This Starts at a Grade 14 ($ 44,564) and leads to a G-18 ($ 55,646)in two years. However, by the time Im in the position for two years there will be merit and cost of living raises involved and I will be closer to $ 60,000 at the end of two years.
