So far in some circumstances straighterline seems faster and cheaper than CLEP
Your pace is a little faster than mine, which is good. I am a big fan of SL over study.com if you had to spend money on both.
Despite my thumbs up for SL, I still prefer CLEP as long as the time commitment is similar because the credits are more portable than SL in California. For example, if you ever want to enter an RN program 20 years from now, one of the prereqs is English comp. An SL course is not going to be accepted at California community colleges or state universities. But some of them do take CLEP. There mere existence of a previous regionally accredited BA won't work since you're trying to meet a nursing program English prereq rather than waive GE including the English comp GE with a BA.

You are right and that is why for my pre requisites and even Post Bacc I am taking those classes either at a local Community College or CLEP.
All of my science classes are going to be in person and my english comp will be clep because its faster..
I was able to complete 12 credits in 24 hours. Which was astonishing.
Where can I get the coupon code for SL? Please and thanks
"I was able to complete 12 credits in 24 hours"

I would take the English Comp CLEP as well - the one with Essay if you don't mind writing, or else the Modular and then the Advanced English Comp DSST if you want to stick to multiple choice.

I did not take the final yet. The final is worth 25% of each of those. And I have between a 95% and a 98% in each class.
So I pass no matter what.
Let's say I get every question wrong (you would have to do it on purpose). I would have above a 70% final grade.
I am scheduled to take finals on Friday and Saturday. I may just random click my way thru, because. Whether I get a 90% or a 70% has the same outcome. That in lies the beauty with most straighterline classes.

How long do you think it would have taken to study for those four if you were taking a CLEP? You took (and spent hours on) Intro to Religion in place of A&I Lit, correct? It would probably be around the same amount of time, and you're leaving off the time for the final. I understand that you could fail it, but that's still time that you'll spend taking it. And your mobility is limited if any schools you wish to attend in the future don't take Straighterline.
