Please help arrange my BSBA in Operations Management from TESC
#21
It's a little bit of both. There was a couple other postings about this. Someone mentioned the changes take affect on July 1st. Anyone applying before July 1st uses the previous requirements. Anyone applying after uses the current/new requirements. It looks like the new requirements are less flexible, fewer electives. It appears that there should still be a few options for credit by exam and it can still be done easily. The website is confusing since it looks like they are updating it piecemeal. It looks like the BSBA requirements changed again, now it's starting to look like the BA programs. Before BSBA had different Gen Ed requirements then the BA programs. It looks different than a few days ago. Hopefully in a few days TESC will finally update the website and the Gen Ed listing so it will be easier to figure out what classes fit in which category.

Thanks swalke321. Looks like I have to re-arrange my Degree Plan again coz I used the what was there in the website before the changes. I am confused now....Sad don't know what subject goes where. Hope TESC can finish updating the website. I am applying from July 10th.

From another posting it sounds like if you apply before July 1st then the degree plan as posted in the 2014-2015 catalog will apply to you. That is the degree plan you have been using for planning purposes. On July 1st the new degree plans will go into affect, 2015-2016. If you apply on or after July 1st you will be using the 2015-2016 degree plans. You may want to consider applying before July 1st. I am not sure what the new degree plan will look like but for the BA CJ program, it is looking like they may have made some drastic changes. I'm not sure if they plan on redoing all their programs or what. I am not sure what they mean by applying. When I applied the process was that you submit the application. Then a day or two later they send you a link to pay the application fee. After you pay the application fee and the fee is processed you then receive the official acceptance if you meet the minimum requirements. I think they are referring to the date you submit your application (which is the first step in the process) but you would want to confirm with TESC.

Sometimes talking to TESC confuses me too much coz they tell me different things. I will just apply and get locked in the 2014-2015 catalog. The will see what plan to take.
