If they intend to switch to an RA school like TESU for the same degree (CS), it may be important that they NOT finish the degree at UofPeople.
I agree with @dfrecore, he should apply to a few colleges that accept RA credit, see how their transfer credits are applied, and work out which path best meets their goals.
