I applied for them to get an LDAS of "Robotic Systems Development" approved, but haven't heard back as yet. I emailed him and he said he did a lot of engineering and physics classes at a local CC. If I get the Robotic Systems Development Approved, I'll cruise though that in about two years (I put some really high level math and engineering courses in there ). But the LDAS is not Liberal Studies, so idk.

So I did call UALR offices, first the bursar office, then transferred to international students, then transferred to the online admission office..
But good news armstrongsubero,
An online admission officer just sent me a confirmation that the price is the same for international students. That being said, I think we will only be 100% when someone joins the program. I will probably apply around April, I might also have a crazy plan that involves doing 12 WGU graduate credits to complete the elective section this summer if I am accepted .
Correspondance with them after I called the Online Office:
Quote:Question:
I just wanted to touch base, I spoke with one of your admission officers this afternoon.
Just to recap, I am a candian looking at your graduate programs, the standard cost is stated at 383$ per credit hour. However, your FAQ state that this price is only available for US citizens, so my question is, what is the cost for Canadians?

Answer:
Thank you xxxxx. The FAQ details you noted have been share with the communication specialist who oversees the website material. The cost is $383 per credit hour.

Okay finally got a response from Dr. Talburt!
Details for the Information Quality Graduate Program.
Anyone with any bachelors degree can apply. For the GMAT requires scores of 500. Tuition is the same inside or outside the US at $383 per credit hour. For the IQ track, the 4 courses in the certificate are applied toward the masters and the 9 courses in the masters are applied toward the PhD as all the courses are fully articulated.
He advises beginning with the graduate certificate in information quality and they waive requirement for GMAT or GRE scores for admission into the program.

Maybe look at Iowa State. They have a bunch of M.Eng, an MS in Info Assurance, etc.

Did Dr. Talburt mention about waiving GMAT/GRE requirement for the MS or the PHD program?
I'm also interested in this program. What about the residency requirements? Looks like the candidacy exams are based on the core courses.
Thanks!

Armstrongsubero, UCI has a decent price per credit and has an Embedded Systems Engineering certificate: https://ce.uci.edu/areas/
Edit: I read their courses generally aren't graduate credit.
The other UC extensions have Embedded Systems Engineering or similar: http://www.ucsc-extension.edu/certificat...%20Systems

@ideas, hmm Iowa state seems cheap, hmm but I wonder if that price is across the board.
And yeah I was looking at those courses at UCI and UC Berkeley...
@louisr nope, the GRE is only waived for the IQ track if you do the certificate first with 3.5 or higher GPA followd by masters then PhD.
The resideency requirements are just as the page states...
