He referred to a famous researcher Martin Seligman who wrote a book called Learned Optimism: How to Change Your Mind and Your Life.

Martin E.P. Seligman also came with the Learned Helplessness theory which is taught in most colleges.

I was trying to track down the data Tony was referring to.
