I don't know about those taking individual courses, but when I enrolled in their AS in CIS program, I had to send originals of my West African Examination Council's Senior Secondary School Certificates of Examination. They told me there was no way they could admit me without proofing I had a secondary school education...

Thank you very much for your answer. I am interested to hear somebody's experience that took just an individual Penn Foster course, like for example art appreciation. I have homeschool highschool diploma and transcript and 40 college credits on ACE transcript and wonder if they will let me take the induvidual course without taking GED first.

When I was enrolled in their accounting program, I was required to fill out a statement saying that I did have a high school diploma. The statement was available on their website.
I downloaded it, filled it out and emailed it back to them. They are a very easy school to work with.

I am currently enrolled in my 3rd individual course through Penn Foster and when I first signed up I asked about the diploma and they said you only had to submit the proof of diploma form if you were enrolled in their degree programs. If you are just enrolling in an individual class, you don't need to submit anything.
