Penn Foster...alittle confused
#1
I called Penn Foster today to try to arrange for an individual math course as suggested by several people here on instantcert, but they said I cannot register to take just one math class.."huh", I said and the guy hung up. So, Iam wondering was I suffering from bad breath and that turned the guy off, or they have too many students and don't need anymore, or did I go about this process all wrong??? Insight please and thank you!!

Call and ask to speak to Mary-Beth, she'll help you. You might have to call a few times before you get a hold of her, but once you do explain to her your looking to take one college level course - Technical Mathematics 1.

Don't get into whole what class will transfer etc. etc. because it just complicates the process.

The Tech Math class is actually a 2 credit class - HOWEVER the current version was ACE reviewed as a 3 credit class and that's just how EC took it for me.

At $55.00 per credit hour, the PFC math class is a steal at $110.00 COMPLETE - all books, materials and a calculator INCLUDED!!!

I tried calling again right after Shoto's posting, but no one answered. I will keep on trying. Thomas Edison will not approve this math course until I send them a course outline..so wish me luck. My computor skills are less than swell so sending them an outline outta be interesting. Again, thank you both for the help and support.

Ron,

Just keep calling the number Brian posted above. I myself have registered for individual classes through Penn Foster. It was really an easy process. I called and asked to speak to Mary Beth I told her I wanted to take and individual course, she asked what class, I told her the class, she told me the price (130.00) and that was that. The phone call took about 5 minutes. I paid for the class with a CC during the call. It was a piece of cake (vanilla)hilarious .

So don't give up keep calling. You will be glad you did.

If you need anymore info just PM me

I was able to call the number given above ShotoJuku and register for individual classes with no problems. It was Tom who answered the phone and it only took about 5 minutes to register. So he is able to help also.

I'm curious, too. I have a couple backups for my Math (Tech Math being one of them lol) and I'm also thinking about doing their Tech Writing class instead of the Tech Writing exam.
I'm done!
