Penn Foster Webinars and Discussions Necessary?
#1
In my syllabus it has the following...

Grading Criteria
Lesson examinations (4) 67% Graded Project 33%

You must complete online discussion board postings and three hours of online chat with an instructor and other students.

Has anyone just skipped the discussion and webinar? The webinars are ONLY available on Sunday night when I'm working with no alternative times.

You can't skip the Webinars. You must go through them. Maybe you can email the instructor and tell them to just give you a 0. But I doubt it. It took me four weeks to set up a webinar appointment as my schedule was to conflicted prior to that.

Good luck, let us know Smile

It's not even counted in the grade, that's why I thought it wouldn't matter. Thanks for the response.

Mines was counted as "Class participation". Maybe they changed the grade formats, or just in general, they don't issue it a grade. But you are welcome, keep us updated my friend! Smile

I'm enrolled in Financial Management and Strategic Business Management. The former has nothing but a few exams fortunately. The discussions show up as an "exam" but the syllabus only shows grading is applied to the ACTUAL exams, though it notes that discussions and webinars are required.

I'm guessing that it's just an ungraded requirement?

Anyone still have their account after passing this class to see how it was broken down?
