Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to receive a grade on a research project after you have submitted it online. Any info is appreciated!
Thanks,
Danielle

It took about 2 weeks for my research project to get graded for Ethics in Criminal Justice. Initially, I was happy about the course, but man... I hate some of the questions for the course, because there is more than one right answer, and it's up to the instructor as to which answer is MORE correct.
On my research project, the instructions said min 250 words essay for one of the five questions. That came out to 1250 words. The instructions also said to use what we have learned and mentioned which chapters for each of the questions, which I did and responded with 400 to 600 words for each one. I was surprised that I only got an 85%.
It appears some of my responses was not to the instructor's liking, even though it clearly stated there was no right or wrong answer. Prior to taking the final, I calculated my grade and noticed I had to score a 97 on my final in order to scrape by with an "A." and scored exactly 97. Talk about sweating bricks because that was the most intense final I have taken with so much writing I had to do. Other thing, you need to score a 92 in order to get an A, which kind of sucks. lol

2 weeks! Yikes! Thanks for letting me know. I guess I'll tell her to stop ckecking for it 5 times a day since she just submitted it Friday.
Do you know if they will wait until it is graded to send out the proctored final or will they mail it because everything else has been completed?
Thanks for your help!

hey
i usually get my results back a lot faster, sometimes it does take over a week, but i think for the majority of my research papers it was only a few days. it probably depends on which instructors' mailbox it ends up in. oh also, on one of my finals, i got a 65. i disputed the grade, and the instructor who regraded it gave me an 85. i think some instructors are really hardcore and nitpick at everything, (grammar, exact word count, heading (yeah I lost 5 points on my English paper because i didn't number my pages, my fault!)etc) and others are more interested in content and how well you show you understand the material.

Thank you! Happily, she received her grade this morning. I think she got one of the stricter instructors because she received an 85 but in the feedback they only mentioned one thing that she could have done better.
