Is it true that Penn Foster is regionally accredited now? The website states:
Penn Foster Career School is accredited for non-degree granting postsecondary diploma programs by the Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA. 215-662-5603
css-msa.org.
I just noticed this, before it just said DETC accredited.

No they are not. It says for secondary school. Their high school program is regionally accredited but their college/university is national/detc accredited. HTH

True. However, right above that it states:
Penn Foster Career School is accredited for
non-degree granting postsecondary diploma programs by the Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA. 215-662-5603
css-msa.org.
I gathered that post secondary means beyond high school, but perhaps I am wrong. Some of the courses offered in the certificate or diploma programs, are also offered under the individual courses in the college. For example, the Visual Basic and Programming course.

Yes that is for their career diplomia courses not for their degree programs hence "non-degree granting postsecondary diploma programs ". Think about it if they were offering regionally accredited courses they would be advertising it as such and would be marking up their courses.
