I have not taken any classes through them but I have been looking into it and will share some information I have obtained. Attached is a document from the ACE website that lists all of the Penn Foster CJ courses that are ACE accredited. I was looking at transferring them to TESC and came up with the following:
The BA in Criminal Justice from TESC requires 33 core credits for the CJ Major. No more than six credits can be from 100 level classes. The Intro to LE and Criminal Justice DSSTs will serve as these two classes (according to the TESC catalog). At least 18 of the 33 credits must be 300 level or above (no penn foster ACE classes are 300 or above). This leaves fifteen credits for 200 and below, only six of which can be 100 and these have already been DSST. You now have 9 credits left that can be 200 level and any three courses from my attached document SHOULD fulfill those requirements (confirm this with TESC). The remaining 18 credits must be 300 level or above. Keep in mind that a few of these credits are subjects that are specifically required, one of which (Criminal Justice Admin) is fulfilled by the Criminal Justice DSST. In summary if you plan on transferring these credits to TESC you can only transfer fifteen credits max since no Penn Foster CJ courses are 300/400 level. Of these fifteen you might as well test out of six leaving only nine 200 level classes that you can transfer in from Penn Foster. BA/Liberal Studies, TESC 2011 AAS/Applied Electronic Studies, TESC 2010
