Peirce College

Why isn’t Peirce College mentioned more as an option? Seems like they have solid programs that allow for high numbers of transfers. Is it cost?

Most Peirce options are more expensive than other schools here, yes. But they do have amazing openness in regards to what transfers in from Sophia, SDC, etc. If you want a degree they offer and that isn't available more cheaply from UMPI, etc., they could be a good choice.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)

We have a degree plan for Peirce College.

https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...ee_Roadmap

Generally, the most recommended college here is UMPI due to mainly time and cost factors.

If you are under 20, need a degree UMPI doesn't offer, or are getting tuition assistance through the govt/employer,  etc., there are other colleges we'll recommend based on your unique situation.

Any college that takes CLEP/Alt credit is hackable. It's just a matter of time and money to complete the degree.
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience:  CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

Some people also want to have a 'university' under their belt, especially when they're going for international positions or teaching in another country of interest. Everyone has their own reasons for selecting another institution over another, some due to cost, degree options, location recognition, and various other options. Pierce is good if you can transfer in 90 for most of their degrees, or up to 102 for about 4 of their applied degrees...

Last I checked a few years ago, there are a few degrees at Peirce that are covered under the $11k flat tuition for 19cr, but they are very limited:
BALS/CJ, CustServ, Cyber, Leadership, & Mgmt tracks

But for $11k, you could do better:
An actual BA in CJ can be done at UMPI for MUCH less
An actual BS in Cyber can be done through WGU for MUCH less, and will include a lot of certs
UMPI has a BLS w/Mgmt Minor for MUCH less
Customer Service is not something I'd ever recommend someone spend ANY amount of money on, and certainly not $11k

And before UMPI came along, TESU had these degrees for less than $7k.  So there's just nothing they offer that would make this a good deal.
TESU BSBA/HR 2018 - WVNCC BOG AAS 2017 - GGU Cert in Mgmt 2000
EXAMS: TECEP Tech Wrtg, Comp II, LA Math, PR, Computers  DSST Computers, Pers Fin  CLEP Mgmt, Mktg
COURSES: TESU Capstone  Study.com Pers Fin, Microecon, Stats  Ed4Credit Acct 2  PF Fin Mgmt  ALEKS Int & Coll Alg  Sophia Proj Mgmt The Institutes - Ins Ethics  Kaplan PLA

It is REALLY strange that schools are offering a degree/concentration/minor/focus in Customer Service. There's nothing a class can teach you better than learning on the job dealing with people. Every company has its own policies so it's a weird thing to spend money learning when you can get paid to learn it. Amberton has a certificate in it and I'm like why? This is one of those things you learning by doing not reading.
