Payment at Excelsior

Hello Everyone,

I have a question about how to pay for Excelsior. I am not receiving financial aid, but I have a 529 college plan that will be able to cover my tuition at Excelsior. When I attended community college, I was able to make a withdrawal from the 529 plan online and they sent a check to my school to pay for my semesters tuition. With Excelsior, however, (I searched everywhere on their website) it appears that you can't pay via check/mail. When I try to register for courses, it prompts me to pay with only a credit card or payment plan. I am wondering how I can pay with a 529 plan? I will definitely be calling Excelsior to ask, but I wanted to see if anyone here had experience with this. Thanks!

I did this for my son.

Yes, you may use the MESP to register and pay for your son's upcoming course registration tuition. Please have the check mailed directly to the following address:

Excelsior College
Attn: Bursars Office
7 Columbia Circle
Albany, NY 12203-5159

Once the check is received and deposited, an automated message center message will be sent and that funds are available to be used.
