What exactly does that pause button do? Can you pause in the middle of a month or is it only available right before you pay for the next month? What happens if you pause in the middle of a month do you start back with the same number of days left into the next month? (I am probably overthinking this.)
Also, once you pay the $200 for a month can you switch back to do just the quizzes and then forward again to the $200 to do the final and the papers? or Do you cancel, and then sign up again? This seems a little confusing.
Lastly, if the test is taken, and all you have is the assignments/papers to do, can you still see the course materials in order to finish the paper?? (I am not talking about the paper requirements, but the course itself.)

You can pause at any time but you still get the membership for the rest of the month. When your membership starts up again, you'll pay for the full month at whatever level you were previously subscribed at.
You can absolutely step down to the $60/mo. level and do quizzes before returning to the $200 to do the final/papers. Do not cancel/sign up again.
As long as you are still subscribed, you'll be able to see the course materials in order to finish the paper. If you are not subscribed or if your subscription is paused then you won't be able to see this information. If all you need is to see the course materials and not do the quizzes, you can step all the way down to the $40/mo. level and still have access to this stuff. But, really, you might as well use the $60/mo level.

Thank you.
So pausing the middle of a month really does not save any time or cost because you have paid for that month? Correct?
Do some people only subscribe to the $200 a month when they are taking the exam, and the pause that account again?? Then they use the other $60 account to finish the quizzes and write the paper?
I guess I am just really not seeing the advantage of this because the timing issue on UL courses worries me a bit. My two sons have completed their first UL course completely thanks to so many helpful people on here. They have 4 more UL courses to complete before starting the Lifelong and Capstone to graduate. I am just a little nervous because their current course has 3 papers assigned which seems like a bit of overkill, and the timing of it all concerns me. Soon I will have a daughter start SDC too so I am trying to get all my money and ducks in a row.

For the UL courses, you can save a bit of money by subbing at the $60 level and working through the necessary course(s) for a month before switching to the $200 level. Instead of paying for 2 months at $200 and only finishing 2 courses in that time, you're saving $140. The papers and the course materials can take a while to work through at the upper level, depending on the course and the assignments that are required.
