Good morning!
Has anyone any experience with getting a PaedDr (a so called "small" doctorate" from slovakia)? You can get it by doing a Rigorosum (small thesis + defensio) at e.g. DTI University, a private university in Dubica. And Since Slovakia is an EU-Member you're allowed to use the degree in the EU.
A "downside" is the consultation fee you pay for "translations" and such of about €7000-11.000 for "consultants" like https://pobs-fernstudium.com/
Normally you can only take the Rigorosum with a Masters' degree in the same field. So for a PaedDr would need a Master's in education or pedagogy. Has anyone ever troed to get a PaedDr with a degree in a field of study which is close to pedagogy like social work or social eduacation?
Or has anyone ever tried to get a PaedDr or a PhDr in Slovakia? Is it worth it?
