Does anyone here know if there is a way to waive the experience requirement at Purdue Global? I'm an international student and would like to pursue an University that allows me to pay a flat tuition rate and then complete as many classes as I want within that time (similar to WGU). Since I can't attend WGU, I thought Purdue Global might be a good fit.
I already have over 60 credits that can be transferred (90 quarter credits), so I would fulfill the "3 minimum" course transfer requirement. On some pages it says; 'Do you have work experience or college credit", that "OR" indicates to me that not both are required, but from other pages it seems like both are required. Is there anyway for me to waive this requirement, or can I talk to an advisor to consider me even without 3 years of relevant work experience.
Has anyone had a similar situation? I can't seem to find anything online. (I'm looking into doing the BS Cybersecurity with Exceltrack).

I'm from South Africa and looking to enroll at SNHU by February of 2023. I have made a degree plan for the BS CS, however I wanted to come on here for advice, and ask if anyone has experience with transferring in any relevant SDC courses to SNHU for the CS program. My plan heavily relies on the fact that SNHU would accept majority of the SDC credits. Can someone maybe go over my degree plan and tell me what I could change. I used a guide that I found on here from some time ago to structure my degree plan, but from my own personal research, that guide seems to be outdated, however I could be wrong. Hence, why I am posting on here.
( https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/SN...egree_Plan)- Guide
A few extra miscellaneous questions I had:
1) Have you had trouble with applying to grad schools with transcripts that contain so many "CR" credits?
2) Does it affect my possibility of obtaining a job if the SNHU program is not ABET accredited?
3) Can I transfer in courses even after I've enrolled in classes. (Let's say I don't finish one of my classes/certs in time, can I still enroll and then transfer them in once I'm finished?) (Or does SNHU follow a similar path as WGU, where they don't accept any credits after enrollment.)
Find my degree plan spreadsheet below: (Sorry for my terrible spreadsheet skills).

SNHU did update their Computer Science degree. The Wiki is now updated for that degree.
I'm not sure if SNHU wants a specific precalculus course that is different from the previous requirements.
The operating systems from SDC were reported to work though I noticed in the equivalency guide that the course number doesn't match up.
Database Systems you can do with a Sophia course or Google Data Analytics certificate might be cheaper/quicker/easier considering you get 2 UL courses with the certificate.
If you find any errors in the Wiki, let me know. We try to keep the Wiki's as accurate as possible.

As I understand, having college credit is all you need.
PUG is around $2800 per term.
To complete the degree in two terms, you would need to finish all but 2 courses + the capstone.
The capstone is 10 weeks, and on a fixed-schedule, you can't accelerate this course. The capstone is like taking two courses in one.

@Personherebb9, Welcome to the board! Basically, to start off - you should take some time and decide which degree/school you would like to go to first. You may better be helped if you follow the template and last post addendum as you may have missed it here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works
What you may want to do update your spreadsheet and create a side sheet for your PUG IT Cybersecurity and have it linked to your one drive or google drive, make the link viewable but not editable. Paste the link here so we can review it instead of attaching an excel file, you can keep updating the file to make changes when we provide further advice.

Reminder: SNHU (unlike WGU and a few others) DOES allow one to continue to transfer in credit after becoming an enrolled student. If you're definitely going with SNHU, you might want to consider enrolling so that you can ask them about precalc and/or anything else we're not 100% sure about.

Any certifications or military experience? No, but wanting to do Google Data Analytics/CompTIA
Budget: I would prefer to keep my total budget under $10 000.

Commitments: 8-5 job, during the day. No kids/spouse. 1 Dog. Weekends and weeknights are open for study.
Dedicated time to study: I would be able to commit around 20-30 hours of study time a week, depends on what is necessary. (I also have an agreement with my employer for study-leave if I feel like I need to be completing something faster.)
Timeline: As quick as possible. Maximum time would preferably be 1.5 years.
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: Parents are contributing $10 000, the rest I have to pay.
School: Id prefer a flat rate tuition term school such as WGU, hence why I am looking at Purdue Global. Otherwise, I am looking at SNHU/TESU. Honestly, any recommendations for schools that would allow me to graduate as fast as possible would be appreciated.
Why do you want to complete University this way? I'm sure many of you feel like it is unnecessary for someone of my age, to complete University this way. From an outside standpoint it might even look stupid. South African Universities are far cheaper than USA, I'd be able to attend Uni for 4 years with $10 000 and that would include room and board. The main reason why I want to complete my undergraduate degree this way, is because I want to leave South Africa as fast as possible. South Africa's economy is crumbling extremely fast. Unemployment rate is sitting at 33%. Minimum wage is just over $2k A YEAR. There is no hope for the younger generation in this country. My goal is to complete my degree as fast as possible so that I can leave this country faster. In the grand scheme of things, a degree from the USA would probably be more respected too.
Goals: After completing my degree, I would like to travel to Korea/Japan for a year and teach English while I'm still young. During this time I'll probably do some sort of masters through UNISA (University of South Africa), since graduate programs are dirt cheap compared to American standards. After that, I'll probably start a job hunt for VISA-sponsorship positions in countries such as the USA, Netherlands, Canada, New-Zealand.
Feel free to give recommendations or ask questions.

TESU would probably be the quickest/cheapest.
The cost of TESU is $6000 if you do the flat-rate term. (with RA credits)
SNHU would probably take 3-6 months longer to complete and cost at least $9600.
Also, you have to pay the cost for Study.com and Sophia.

As far as my research...
Top Graduate school wont accept a undergraduate degree that has so much credits from say study.com / sophia etc.etc.. i checked with Arizona State University for example.. they dont even accept it in BSc also...
Hence i was also thinking first to go with SNHU, you can see my previous replies by looking at my profile..
But yes there are some or many graduate schools, maybe above 500 QS ranking.. that may accept...
I am also in same situation, thinking which Uni to select - Haha...

As has been mentioned repeatedly, it depends heavily on the school. Arizona State University is just ONE state university. There are others.
People here have been accepted into a Georgia Tech Master's with a TESU degree that had only a handful of credits with actual grades. Depending on which rankings you use, Georgia Tech is #4 to #50 in the US and #69 to #90 in the world. https://www.topuniversities.com/universi...technology
Again, a Master's degree is less about your Bachelor's degree and more about YOU and the whole package that you bring with your application.
