PMI is beta testing a new software/learning module this month with it's own certification that is non-proctored. It is a professional level certification (not as high as PMP) but still one!

There's an email at the bottom to email them asking for a beta code. I'm not allowed to say how much the discount was but it is SIGNIFICANT. Like, you don't want to pass this up if you're going into business. Do not hesitate.

They were very quick at responding to me as well. I received a code for the same discount. Is it really worth $70?

Yes, I also got a response almost immediately. I think I'll go for it, since it will be relatively cheap and quick, plus I think it would be beneficial to get one of these "micro credentials" as an interim cert before I get an full PM cert later down the road.

Depends on your career and goals. $70 for any certification from PMI is WICKED cheap. This is also super fast and their certs aren't known for speed. If you are interested in project management or IT, it isn't a bad cert to get. Many IT companies have agile and SCRUM certified pros.

I’m a member of PMI, I keep getting an error message when attempting to purchase the course.

Do you think one would need extensive prior knowledge of project management to complete this cert?
