Hey all just want to run this by everyone and see if anyone can find any mistakes with my plan so far.
I currently have 24.34 credits and need 95.66 to finish out my BALS.
English comp:
Eng101 COMPLETE
College Comp Clep w/essay WAITING FOR SCORE
Humanities:need 12 credits (Not Started)
Humanities Clep 6 credits
American Lit Clep 6 credits
Social Sciences: need 12 credits (not started)
History of the US I Clep 3 credits
History of the US II Clep 3 credits
American Government Clep 3 credits
Intro to Psyc Clep 3 Credits
Mathematics: need 3 credits (not started)
College Algebra Clep 3 credits
Natural Sciences: need 6 (in progress)
CSC139 Complete
Natural Sciences Clep 6 credits
General Electives: need 18 credits (not started)
Unsure what to go with here
Liberal Studies: need 18 upper level (not started)
I'm unsure how to fill the Upper level requirement.
Liberal Studies: need 15 maximum of 6 at the 100 level (not started)
Any Idea why this is listed twice like this?
Free Electives: need 9.32 credits (in progress)
Fema credits to fill this out.
I have a couple questions. How would I fill the Upper Level courses needed in the Liberal Studies section? Why is Liberal studies listed twice, once for 18 credits and once for 15?
Also, I've have been thinking about taking classes at my local community college to speed up the process. Any thoughts on what classes to take at the CC and which to Clep?
Thanks in advance.

The Liberal Studies section of the degree requires 33 credits. Another way to break it down is:
100 level - at most 6 credits
200 level - at least 9 credits
300/400 level - at least 18 credits
Several months ago, I was trying to learn about this degree while Kevin was creating one. Maybe you will get some ideas through these threads:

Be sure to read the whole threads and save the first link in the first post of the first thread. It is a great reference page to have on TESC credit-by-exam policies.
Also, since you may take courses. This post by Cookderosa should help you see how each course subject fits your degree plan. (Note: She recently said some of the comments about TESC are out of date.)

I have earned my BALS using mainly CLEP/Dantes DSST credits.

Example: below 3 in General Psychology and 5 in history for a total of 18 credits. It could be 12+6=18 etc..
