PF, TESC, or other for CJ

PonyGirl93 Wrote:Cool cool. Now I have to decide

Can these PF requirements be filled with CLEPs?

ENG100 – English Composition (3 Credits)
CSC104 – Computer Applications (3 Credits) (I haven't taken the IS&CA CLEP, but I could :ackSmile
SSC130 – Essentials of Psychology (3 Credits)
SSC105 – Readings in World Civilization (3 credits)
HUM102 – Art Appreciation (3 credits)
MAT102 – Mathematical Applications (3 credits)
I guess they could, but they'd still show up at EC on CLEP transcripts. So, the English comp would get you nowhere. You'd either have to take the class, take the Uexcel, or take the ECE (6 credits but waaaaaaaay more expensive) to cover the WER.

I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

Yeah, I'm not concerned about EC, I just want to skip those @ PF :p Speaking of which, can I handpick my classes @ PF, or do I have to follow their degree plan? I'd like to be able to pick and choose, so that I can fulfill my requirements for TESC or EC w/o extra, unnecessary classes.

If you're going to take a bunch of classes from PF, they may have you enroll, declare your degree plan, and stick you with that as far as what they'll allow you to take.

*Edit cuz I types teh guddest!

My daughter took a total of 8 CJ classes through PF. She did not enroll. She just took them 2 or 3 at a time.

Is it more expensive to do it that way?

Bah, I'm working on 2 servers, a backup issue, and trying to figure out how I'm going to get 3 papers done two days ago...:p

Heck, at least while I may slip up occasionally - usually when I'm going in 50 different directions at once, I'm proud to say that I've seen far worse communications skills regularly from people who are in doctoral programs.

So Nyeah Nyeah Nyeah!

Which is exactly what happened.. Sigh.. Hehe :ack:

Its funny, I think people around here only usually see about 1/2 of what I say, because I have a habit of going back and making edits and additions to my post left and right, and by the time I'm done, there's usually several replies that don't even scrach the new stuff I've put in.. :p

Back to the topic at hand, the only thing that you might have to worry about with CJ courses at PF is prereqs. (I haven't looked at them to see what the prereqs (if any) for the courses, but I know EC has some for those towards the higher level classes.)

I don't know. Each class she took was $270 including the proctor fee.
