I know this is one of the most feared DSST's out there.

So, I've gone through all the IC flashcards 3 times. I did all the practice problems IC had for time value money calculations (PV FV NPV IRR etc.) I got 32 out of the 35 correct 1st time through.

I guess my main question is are the problems and Q's I see on IC close to the one's I'll see on the test or do those probs only cover a few of the types I'll see?

Also, I passed M&B with a pretty decent score last month... Is this going to be enough for a Pass?

I just took this one and left some specific forum feedback. I think that there was an error on my test. I studied my brains out and there was some strange mix of questions that only seemed to cover two topics. Literally there was the same calculations with different numbers 30 times. (What??? I knew CAPM, WACC, NPV, PV and FV forward and backwards -why didn't they ask me about them?)

Anyhow.. I thought M & B was the worst test ever.. I didn't even think BL II was that bad, but M & B knocked me on my butt!! If you did ok on M & B you will be ok with Finance after IC and maybe a few other sources.

The IC cards were really good and I especially liked the practice problems. In addition to the IC cards, I would highly recommend MBAbullshit.com. This guy has a bunch of videos explaining difficult concepts such as WACC, calculating Beta, IRR, etc.. It was a must and helped the IC cards make more sense.

I have a bunch of study guides that were too big to post here. If you want them, you can email me at burbuja0512@yahoo.com.

You can do it!

Go to freeclepprep.com. They have some additional material such as the snazzlefrag's notes. Take a DSST practice exam (I think there is one for $5 on getcollegecredit.com). This was a hard exam, and I was a little disappointed because I couldn't figure out the charts they gave me. I still can't figure out what was wrong with their charts. They were totally different then the ones I'd been studying with. Don't forget to ask your proctor about the using the BA II calculator (or whatever non-programmable one you're using). The calculator helps a lot (and it cuts down on the formulas you have to remember). Good luck, and if you need more resources, PM me.

Don't bother with the tables. I agree that they were confusing - the DSST fact sheets confirm that you can bring the BA II. I printed this out and brought it to my proctor. http://www.getcollegecredit.com/download...inance.pdf

You might want to call your testing center first to make sure there aren't problems with it. I was worried, but my testing center just looked at the dsst fact sheet and said "ok no problem." I was so worried about this test and the last thing I wanted to do was stress about about the calculator. It turned out to not be a big deal at all.
