I've completed the equivilent of ENC 101 but still need ENC 102. If I take the 6 credit CLEP exam will I receive partial credit (3) for ENC 102 considering I still need it. I would prefer to take a exam than a class for this requirement. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Confirm with an advisor, but College Composition CLEP is worth 6 credits and counts as ENC-101 and ENC-102. College Composition Modular is worth 3 and counts as ENC-101. However, I confirmed with my advisor that CCM + Essay (2 essays) is worth 6 credits covering both ENC-101 and ENC-102.
Personally, I have to take six courses anyway (military TA) so I chose as my first one to take ENC-102, and I'm now on my third week. 12 weeks of practice writing MLA/APA style, which all other courses (+ master's courses) will require anyway.
