Yes, if it's too good to be true, it usually is. I do a lot of online shopping, but I only purchase when there are multiple reviews and I know exactly what I am buying. Usually it's airplane tickets or car rentals, or anything else, I do my research on best price and buy then.

The obvious problem here is that the off topic area doesn't get enough posts. Otherwise a thread that hasn't had posts in 5 years wouldn't still be appearing on the first page.
