Hello, I am working towards a BS General Business at Excelsior. I would like to make sure that I am interpreting things correctly.
It looks like the Organizational Behavior and Ethics in America DSSTs fulfill the core requirements but would apply to the Arts & Sciences total of my Status Report whereas the comparable ECEs will fulfill the core requirements and apply to the Business total of my Status Report.
Is that accurate?

I went thru the same thing. If I'm not mistaken (I took the ECE's a while ago), the DSST's will fufill business core requirements, but are not considered upper-level business courses. You would have to take other upper level business exams or courses to make up the required number of upper level business electives. Can anyone concur?
-Need 6 more credits for Excelsior College BS in General Business
-Tested out of 46 credits to date
Credits to finish:
Operations Mgmt-CSU-Pueblo MGMT 311
Business Policy- CSU Pueblo MGMT 485 or TESC exam???

Please verify the following with the EC Business catalog and your advisor, but... my recollection is that the ECE Ethics and Org Behavior are upper level business AND meet core requirements. Here's the rub: you can also take the DSST Ethics for Arts and Humanities credit as they do not duplicate (although you still can study for them together as I understand there is overlap. I'm hoping so--I take both next Wednesday!) but the Org Behavior DOES duplicate so I decided to take the ECE Org Behavior as I needed upper level credit.
