What do you think about credential stacking?
#11
I'm starting to really notice something that's holding me back from landing a social service job in South Texas: I'm not fluent in Spanish. I'm used to seeing about half of the jobs ads note that there is a preference for bilingual applicants, but now I'm starting to see more require fluency in Spanish. So, if I'm going to increase my chance of entering the social services sector, I have to either learn Spanish or move to a different region of the country. I'm not against learning another language and have tried to learn more Spanish, but it'll just be easier for me to become a teacher or a cop.
