ONU YourWay Ending on March 27, 2023
#21
Yup, and that is where the student comes into play. By the time they start UMPI or anything else, they need to know what their budget, commitments, energy, time, etc. No body on the board would know better than they would, we just provide options, if ONU is out, they can try UMPI for a session to get RA credits best they can, another option is TECEPS, it depends on what they decide. Advice is just that, after going through their options provided, they can take it, or leave it, and go their own way...

Is ONU still accepting people into your way between now and March? Or are they only offering it to current students to wrap up what they started?

I reached out last week and they told me if I applied before the end of the month (August) that they would enroll me.    Not sure if they will still do it or not, but feel free to reach out to them.   They are very nice and extremely helpful.    I did get my application in and they called me to confirm.   I'm still waiting on my credentials, which they said could take up to a week.

Has anyone been able to apply in this month (September)? Wonder why the couldn't keep the prize? Maybe the funds go to pay for the new LMS transition and maintenance.

I spoke with an academic advisor today about this and they said that there would not be a replacement for YourWay. BUT all courses will revert to Canvas $275/credit for 100-200 level courses and $400/credit for 300-400.  They will still be self paced and accelerated 6 weeks. We still have 9 months to get as many credits as we can before the program ends.
"If you haven't heard the big news, Your Way courses will move to a different learning management system (LMS) called Canvas. If you're unfamiliar with Canvas, it's an LMS that is used all around the world. Your Way courses will become unavailable after March 27, 2023. Work hard to finish any gen ed you can before that date.If you have questions, start with the Search icon in the community. Can I still enroll into this program?
