Non Proctored - Online courses through TESC or Excelsior?
#1
Hey all,

I'm curious, I'm pretty sure that whichever online TESC course you take, you need at least one if not two proctored exams to earn credit.. Are there any that you don't? Or any type of way you can take one of their classes without the proc?

Also, does Excelsior require any proc exams for their classes?

I really have no idea on Excel.

Thanks so much! I'll check back later Smile

My experience with online Excelsior courses (I have taken 5 online courses through Excelsior) is all the exams I have taken have been non-proctored.

I've taken one Excelsior course and will begin another in November. The exams for both are non-proctored essay exams.

Only one of my 3 EC courses has had exams and they were non-proctured multiple choice exams. They were very short and more like quizzes. Otherwise, my courses have just had a lot of writing assignments and not much in the way of testing.

Thanks a lot everyone. I really do appreciate it.

Does Excelsior offer a BS in Information Technology?

That is the degree I'm interested in. I've tried looking at the website.. I found a class list but it had hundreds of classes. Maybe not hundreds but.. It was lengthy and not all about that really.
