I think I may have seen this before but TESC's policy is pretty upsetting.
I have to wait until my BSBA is complete and then do 24 new credits to get another degree program such as the BA.
Needless to say this has bummed me out a bit but given me renewed direction in completing portions of my masters at WGU prior to enrollment. (Its certification based so I can work on certs now.)
From TESC.
While we do allow students to pursue two areas of study in one degree (for example a BA in History and Psychology) you would not be able to pursue a BA in Natural Sciences and Math at the same time you are pursuing a BSBA because they are two seperate degree programs.
You can finish your BSBA and then come back for a second degree to pursue the BA in Natural Sciences and Math, however you would have to complete 24 additional credits in the area of study/core for a second baccalaureate degree beyond the date all prior degrees were completed. What that means is that while some of your courses from your BSBA could be carried over, the credits in your major in Natural Sciences and Math would all have to be new.

Aww that stinks. I was hoping to get a BSBA Finance and then a BA in Economics. Do you know if you can get a evaluation for your second degree, to see what courses are needed?

I can do an eval myself online. I don't need many classes but with their weird policy some of the classes will be off limits. I don't even think their online tool knows how to enforce this.

This isn't just TESC. This is pretty much how most schools work. I had to do the same thing at EC, but I needed 30 "fresh" credits, so TESC will do it for less "fresh" credits which is better for students.

Why would you want a second Bachelors? I got a buddy with 3 different associates degrees. Seems kind of pointless to me.

MC makes an excellent point.
I don't see what the big deal is about the TESC 24 new credits policy- for example, in the case of a BSBA and a BA in Economics, the only overlap a BSBA graduate is likely to have with the BA in Economics Area of Study is Intro Macro/Micro and Money and Banking.

I have a whole bunch of math and science classes done already which fill out ninety percent of my requirements. I think all of those would be deemed unacceptable due to the date I got those credits. They aren't even being used in my bsba which seems unfair.
