No more Kaplan OpenCollege free credits / NFA Q318
#1
I just finished the Kaplan OpenCollege portfolio assessment (free version) and tried to submit it to ACE but got the following message "we're sorry, but you have entered an invalid completion date. Completion dates must be between a version's start and end date."

Upon checking, I realized that the Kaplan LRC100 course ran from 05/2103-04/30/2016. Hence, my request for credits was turned down by ACE. Wrote ACE and Kaplan requests for a waiver as I'd started the course before the deadline and wasn't aware of one but not sure if it'll work out.

Also, the free NFA Q318 course is nowhere to be found on the ACE system any more. This has set me back an unplanned 4 credits which I need asap!

Please be aware and plan accordingly...

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

We've been discussing this over here http://www.degreeforum.net/general-educa...post207360

But it's part of a longer thread so probably got buried.

I think it's because it's listed as Q0318 that you can't find it when you look it up by Q318.

FYI, this is the last thing I heard from Kaplan after asking them if they were going to have their ACE approval renewed, then being referred to ACE directly for some reason, then me relaying back to Kaplan that ACE clarified it's up to Kaplan if they want to go for renewal:

My guess is that they won't go for reapproval, since there's no benefit to them, but who knows
