TESC BALA program - will this work
#11
I've been working on a degree plan with my SO's old engineering credits. We were very disappointed when some of his math and science courses were "downgraded" from upper level to 100 or 200 level in transfer, even though they came from a 4-year state university... although his calc courses were normal math courses and not engineering specific. Hopefully they will transfer better for you. Fingers crossed for you-- good luck! Smile

Ok I went to USF in Tampa from 1994-1998 and picked up about 70 or so credits.
I also have an MCSE+Internet and and MCSD (microsoft certifications).
I have applied to TESC but haven't had a degree audit yet. How does this look for a BALS?

It looks like I went over on the area of study a little and under on the free electives but I think that doesn't matter. If it does I'll pick up a CLEP to even it out.

How does this look? Is it possible that I will transfer this stuff over to TESC and they will allow me to graduate with no capstone? That would be sweet.

Just to dig up my old thread. I am following Geezer's recommendation of the BSBA CIS at TESC.

I am now studying finance and ethics and am close to being ready to test.
Next up will be some Penn Foster simple systems analysis classes and the capstone business policy and then I'm done I think.
Unless TESC comes back with my eval and says otherwise.

Thanks Geezer for steering me in the right direction. These business undergrad classes will help a lot when I do an MBA since most MBAs require them or require you to do some sort of remedial accounting/marketing/finance classes.
BSBA CIS from TESC, BA Natural Science/Math from TESC
MBA Applied Computer Science from NCU
Enrolled at NCU in the PhD Applied Computer Science
