How should I go about this?
#1
I am new at Clep tests and I have some questions regarding what I should do to go about getting a degree through testing.
I have already took a few courses at a college and my goal is to graduate with a BSBA General Management degree. I have taken: Macro Econ - Introduction to Psych - Film Music - Jazz Music - English 105 - Accounting I - CIS - Principles of Management. My plan is to take all appropriate tests and then transfer all my credits to TESC to get my diploma through them. What advice would anyone have for me as far as courses to take and any other advice on this subject.

Also, would someone be able to point me in the direction of some key articles to explain everything I should know?

I patterned my degree plan primarily from Sanantone's, although going through the TESC route, especially with General Management, offers enough flexibility to adjust as needed: Sanantone's BSBA General Management - Degree Forum Wiki

Feel free to search through other plans as well, although there has been changes recently such as FEMA credits no longer being accepted.

As for testing out, my advice would be to use it to knock out the more challenging, usually upper level, courses that you may not feel confident scoring an A on otherwise through a class, so that you can protect your GPA, if it's important. If you can knock out the 24 credit residency requirement (depending on your enrollment type; others can probably explain this better), all the better. TECEPs can help with that, and they're listed here: Thomas Edison State College: All TECEPÂ Tests
