Any helpful tips on what to expect with this test. I have taken CLEP before and passed those 2. The first in intro to Psychology and then in intro to Sociology. I have been studying this for several weeks and have a hard time remembering which philosopher goes with each area of Ethics. Some of them overlap or expand on the subject of the matter in many cases. Is there some one that might have study tips on how to remember these?

I took this exam yesterday and passed with a 439. My only studying was taking notes from the Petersons practice exam and using Wiki to give me some background on each of the Philosophers. Much of the exam (about 60%) is not specifically about a philosopher, but more about categorizing a ethical principal with a situation. I finished the exam in 45 minutes after reviewing about 6-8 questions I had marked. My advice is go with your instinct if you arent sure on an answer, it only 1/4 opposed to clep which is 1/5. The one question that through me was number 100. It was an essay. I did not expect an essay and was worried I would not get a grade immediately. However as soon as I finished the exam I did get a grade and was satisfied with the Pass. The essay gave 2 ethical situations, asked you to choose 1, identify the ethical choices avaialable and then argue how the subject should proceed. You are then asked to argue the counterpoint and finall revisit your initial thoughts and review. I wrote 2-3 sentences per section, 8-10 total. I was fairly concise and did not get into much detail, other than using terms that were used as part of the exam, like the Golden Mean, etc. My thought is that the exam is not really "scored" the machine looks for content and possible key words to verify that AN answer was given.
So do answer the essay, however I am not sure HOW it is actually graded.

Anyone taken the Excelsior Ethics test lately? How does it compare to the DSST exam. Are the similar?
